Critical Illness and Critical Accident Voluntary Insurance Plans
If you are looking for additional security in case you or a family member is diagnosed with a critical illness or involved in a serious accident, consider Colonial’s Voluntary Critical Illness and Critical Accident plans. These plans help provide personalized benefits that fit your needs and lifestyle.
If you or a covered dependent is enrolled in the Critical Illness plan, you will be paid a direct cash benefit upon diagnosis of a covered condition. You can use this cash benefit to help pay your deductible or for any other purpose you choose.
If you are covered under the Critical Accident plan, you will be paid a direct cash benefit if you or a covered dependent is injured in a covered accident. Covered accidents include injuries, hospital stays, accidents, accidental death, dismemberment, loss of limb, and paralysis.
Voluntary Disability Coverage
When considering disability coverage, think about what expenses you would have if you were unable to work. What other sources of income would be available to you if you became disabled? Would that be enough for you and your family to live on?
Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance
Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance provides protection for you, your spouse and your dependents against loss of income in case of death or a covered loss as the direct result of an accident.
