Marcus demolished an aged 1,800 ton plant and built the new 4,600 ton storage facility on the same footprint which was an extremely tight location. The added tonnage was gained by using full height product walls that allow the fertilizer to fill right up to the bottom of the fill conveyor. Two 12-ton vertical mixers were added and sit in a pit for easier loading, they dump onto a drag conveyor to their loadout leg, where they fill trucks, spreaders, and self-propelled spreaders for their patrons needs.
