Todd graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato with a B.S. in Construction Management. In 1984, Todd joined Marcus Construction as a member of the structural steel erection crew, and has since served as Project Superintendent, Estimator, Project Manager and Sr. Project Manager. In 2007 he was promoted to VP of Construction. Todd’s diverse experience includes over 30 years of management, supervisory, and hands-on experience in the design build general contractor and telecommunications industries. He’s managed multiple construction projects and estimated multiple telecommunications projects ranging from $10 - $100 million. He is passionate about building trust, sharing innovative building practices and providing the best customer experience possible. As VP of Construction, Todd oversees the day-to-day field operations of Marcus Construction. He is a member of the company’s senior leadership team and also serves on the company’s Advisory Board. Tim started his construction career as a teen spending his summers working alongside his father, Larry Ryan, a long time Marcus foreman. It was after those experiences he chose to become a trained carpenter, graduating from Alexandria Vo-Tech. Tim entered the construction industry as a residential framing carpenter but soon discovered his true passion was in commercial construction. Tim re-joined Marcus in 2000. Bob began a three-year apprenticeship with cement masons and earned his journeyman certificate right out of high school. After working for several contractors Bob joined Marcus as a concrete finisher in 1997. He left for a short period before re-joining the Marcus team in 2003 as a foreman and now enjoys his position as a jobsite superintendent. What do you enjoy most about working at Marcus Construction? Travis grew up and graduated from Plainville, KS (yes that is a real town and yes it was plain). Tim graduated from Hennepin Technical School with a Certificate in Carpentry Construction, entered the construction industry as a framing carpenter and he’s never stopped learning the craft. Over the years he’s worked on numerous projects for different general contractors, subcontractors and as self-employed. Tim joined Marcus in 2014. Dan went to college at the University of Minnesota. He moved to Alaska in 1981 and worked 15 years as a carpenter building residential homes and then spent the next 18 years as a Field Superintendent building the infrastructure of remote Native Alaskan Villages, including water and sewer systems, bulk fuel storage facilities and power plants.
