The press continues to roll on this premiere storage facility located on the Mississippi in the heart of downtown St. Louis, Missouri. The Lange-Stegmann plant is one of the largest fertilizer storage facilities in the country and due to it’s massive foot print of 120,000 square feet, standing 90 feet in the air and wearing almost 3 acres of shingled roof, its no wonder it has a hard time going unnoticed. This plant has the capacity to store over 62,000 tons of dry fertilizer in 15 full product bins and has the ability to loadout 110 cars in less than 24 hours.

Central Lakes Cooperative-The project for Central Lakes Cooperative in Atwater, Minnesota has storage capacity for 11,124 tons of dry fertilizer. The structure was designed utilizing primarily wood and concrete materials to reduce the corrosion inherent with the storage of fertilizer. The building is located near railroad tracks which will allow for receipt of fertilizer products by rail car at a later date. At this time, the material travels from a truck into a hopper, through an underground tunnel, into a leg and is dispersed into various bins constructed within the facility. The equipment for this facility will handle 250 tons per hour receiving and 150 ton per hour blending and loadout.
